SHOW IDENTITIES IN THE 112-UNIVERSE

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

In 2024 I worked on the launch of the podcast called '112 for knuste hjerter' (911 for broken hearts), and about a year I got
to develop the visual identity for their next show, '112 for parforhold' (911 for relationships).

The show is all about love - in all of its forms and stages, and that inspired the overall creative concept for the launch too.

And since the hosts of the show are known to have a very romantic and hollywood inspired style- e.g. they once booked a limo for their Valentine's date - I came up with a design inspired from 00's rom com posters. A plain offwhite studio, bold red title and the couple as the main attraction. In this rom com setting, we shot sugar sweet kisses, annoyed looks and mundane toothbrushing scenes to show the different ways a relationship might look.

For social media I also wanted to show love in different forms, and I designed a lot of different 3D hearts that can be used on their social media templates, stories and posts.

The Betty Nansen Theatre in Copenhagen has a department dedicated to the develop and improve the creation of their plays. The department is called Betty Udvikler (Betty Develops) and I had the honour of making their new visual identity. One of their biggest values is co-creation which was an important inspiration for how this turned out. They're strive to be creative, inclusive and experimenting, and I visualised this creative, but controlled chaos with a sketchy illustration style, lots of colours and mixed media.

We didn't want to let this launch go unnoticed, so on the launch day for '112 for parfohold', which of course was Valentine's day, we made a big pop up event at the Copenhagen Central Station. To emphasize that the podcast's goal is to help people in relationships we handed out bouquets, heart balloons and Valentine's cards to those who may have forgotten all about Valentine's. In addition to the event we also sent out Valentine's gifts to relevant content creators.

The launch was the most successful launch in Podimo in over a year with more than 15.000 people listening to the podcast within the first week, and the hosts of the podcast were also invited to talk about the show on a big Danish talk show, Go' Aften Danmark.
