Caring Label

A care label that doesn't tell you how to take care of your clothes.
Instead it tells you how to take care of yourself if you're in an abusive relationship.

Domestic violence seems almost impossible to defeat since abusive partners often keep an eye on their partner at all times. So we made a hidden message in H&M' clothing that abusers hopefully won't notice. It won't fix it all, but it might help someone get out of their unhealthy relationship, and that's a start.

As sterotypical as it might sound, a woman in a straight relationship who does most of the household chores is at higher risk of being in a violent relationship compared to women in relationships with an equal workload. And a lot of women in abusive relationships struggle to seek help because their partner watches every move they make.
Well, maybe not when she's doing the laundry. And that's why the Caring Label was created. To hopefully give these women a chance to reach out for help without their partner stopping them.
